Hirafu Matsuri (Summer Festival)
The grand finale of Niseko's summer festival season held annually in late August at Sun Sportsland, Kutchan. Features live performances by schools and local bands, taiko drumming, mochi-maki (rice cake toss), food stalls, fun for all ages, and a spectacular fireworks finale. One of the most exciting weekends of the summer season.
