Goshiki Onsen
A hidden gem onsen set among the foothills of Mt. Iwaonupuri at 750 m altitude, entirely constructed of Japanese larch wood with a traditional old-country feel. Named 'goshiki' (five colors) because its sulfur-rich water draws from five different sources with varying mineral content. Features indoor and outdoor baths (Karamatsu no Yu) with panoramic mountain views. Hours: summer 9:00–20:00, winter 10:00–19:00. Tattoo-friendly. Reachable by car/taxi only – not on shuttle bus routes.
